Pray With Us

Take Action. Join us as we pray.

We know that prayer is the most powerful action step you can take. It's also the thing that the enemy works hardest to distract us from doing. Fight for northern Uganda and the people being ravaged by the LRA in Sudan and D.R. Congo by creating prayer teams. We can tell you things to pray for, and God himself can give you words and pictures of people across the world to help you pray. Here are some ideas:

1. Just start! Even if you can get one other person to commit to getting together on a regular basis to pray, that's powerful work for the kingdom! Commit to meeting at least once a month, and let us know so that we can send you regular prayer requests and updates.

2. Talk to your church about sharing about Favor of God and northern Uganda in order to gather a group of people to regularly pray.

3. Get your church to regularly pray and include our prayer updates in their normal announcements.

4. Pray as you go. Prayer can happen at any time and any place. Don't let the enemy convince you that you have to be in a special place with a special group to pray. We should be fighting for the kingdom and those who are oppressed continuously!

5. Start a prayer group at your work or school that can meet regularly during lunch hour.

6. Hang up pictures of our House of Hope kids or other pictures of northern Uganda from our Flickr site. These will remind you to pray.
